Founded in 2012, the Fondation Liyolo took off after the passing of its founder. The Fondation Liyolo was set up to preserve the artistic legacy of Liyolo, transfer his knowledge and know-how and promote new artists.
the Liyolo Foundation plans to transform the Liyolo estate into a private museum, build a Cultural Center and the first Research Center on Contemporary Art in the DRC.
